Hours: 37 hours per week

• Monday–Thursday: 07:30–15:30
• Friday: 07:30–15:00

About the Role
Network Recruitment Wales is seeking dedicated Streetscene Operatives to maintain the beauty and safety of Torfaen’s streets, parks, and public spaces. This hands-on, outdoor role is ideal for those who thrive on variety, enjoy teamwork, and want to make a real difference in the community.
What You’ll Do

• Keep it Tidy: Clear litter, empty bins, remove graffiti, and address fly-tipping.
• Care for Green Spaces: Mow grass, trim hedges, plant flowers, and maintain parks and estates.
• Ensure Safety: Check play areas, clear pathways, and support winter gritting efforts.
• Serve the Community: Assist at events, clean public facilities, and promote orderly conduct.
• Use Tools: Operate equipment like strimmers, mowers, and sweepers (training provided).
• Stay Dynamic: From refuse collection to landscaping, every day is different!

What We’re Looking For

• A proactive team player with a can-do attitude.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• A full UK driving licence (HGV licence a plus).
• Willingness to undertake training (e.g., chemical spraying, LANTRA courses).
• Commitment to health, safety, and excellent service.
• Basic horticultural or plant knowledge is a bonus.
