Computer Science Teacher – Sandwell

Inspire the next generation of digital innovators in a well-resourced, forward-thinking secondary school in Sandwell. We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a dedicated team on a long-term assignment, starting ASAP.
 
Key Details
  • Position: Computer Science Teacher
  • Location: Sandwell
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract: Long-term supply
  • Rate: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
 
The Role
You’ll be teaching Computer Science to students across KS3 and KS4, planning and delivering engaging, practical lessons that develop both core coding skills and digital literacy. You'll work closely with a supportive department, using a modern curriculum and up-to-date technology. Behaviour is well-managed, and SLT are proactive and present.
 
The Candidate
  • We’re looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) with experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level.
  • A strong understanding of programming languages and computing theory
  • A passion for delivering inclusive, high-impact lessons
  • Good classroom management skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
