Are you a caring and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in a special school setting? This welcoming specialist school in South Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team of experienced Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and communication needs, across Key Stages 3 and 4.

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the classroom, providing 1-2-1 and small group support tailored to the needs of each pupil. You will work closely with teachers, teaching assistants and therapists to ensure each child has access to an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Patience, empathy and resilience are essential, as is a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs. This school has an outstanding reputation in the community, and you will feel like part of the team from day one.
Job Role:

• Supporting pupils with Autism, MLD, and communication difficulties in Key Stage 1 and 2.
• Providing 1-2-1 support and whole class Teaching Assistant support.
• Promoting independence, confidence and positive behaviour. Helping children to discover a love for learning.
• Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school team to promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Communicating effectively with teachers, leadership and other teaching assistants to ensure that needs op pupils are met.
