We are currently recruiting for a Communications Assistant to support a busy highways business based in Ipswich.Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will play a key role in delivering both proactive and reactive communications, acting as a point of contact for public enquiries and complaints while helping to improve customer experience and service perception.
Key responsibilities include:- Handling enquiries and complaints from the public and stakeholders
- Supporting communication projects and campaigns
- Monitoring customer feedback
- Assisting with internal and external communications
- Supporting stakeholder engagement and operational teams
The ideal candidate will have:- Experience in a customer facing roleΒ
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to handle complaints professionally and empathetically
- A proactive and organised approach
