Purpose:
As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, development, performance, governance, administration, and delivery of insurance services. Your goal will be to maximize efficiency, performance, and value, ensuring all services meet and exceed pre-agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Continuously identify areas for improvement to reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering positive outcomes and putting their interests first.
  • Educate customers about all services and provide ongoing support.
  • Lead and manage the insurance team, ensuring clear understanding of roles and responsibilities.
  • Meet team and organizational targets, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Contribute to the training and development of the team.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant legal, statutory, and professional standards.
  • Oversee daily insurance activities and team performance.
  • Handle general administration, including claims management.
  • Collaborate effectively with all departments.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve insurance targets.
  • Support other departments with insurance-related issues.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and performance of team members.
  • Report on team and departmental performance regularly.
  • Foster a positive team environment and lead by example.
  • Maintain accurate records and responsibly manage resources.
  • Engage in marketing and networking events to promote the company.

  • Strong understanding of the UK insurance market, trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Ability to understand diverse client needs and industry risks.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and motivational attitude.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a broking or underwriting environment.
Qualifications:
  • Cert CII qualification is an advantage.
