Senior SHE Manager for a permanent role within an engineering company in BS21. This is a new role due to a period of growth within the company and will have responsibility for leading, empowering and motivating a growing team of Systems Engineers for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
As a Senior SHE Manager, you will report to the SHEQ & BPI Manager and play a key role in ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. You will provide leadership on all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) matters, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, company policies, and global SHE standards.
- £53,000 - £82,000 anual salary, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:- Implement and manage the SHE Management System in alignment with company and global standards (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
- Develop and execute strategies for continuous improvement in Safety, Health, and Environmental performance.
- Manage and conduct internal SHE audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.
- Monitor and report on the compliance status of SHE procedures, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with global SHE and Quality teams to drive business improvements.
- Support the Global SHE teams in developing integrated business processes.
- Conduct global audits in alignment with business needs and global SHE strategies.
- Act as the subject matter expert for SHE practices and implementation.
- Lead SHE business process improvement projects to enhance workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
- Promote and influence a positive safety culture across the organisation
Required Skills & Experience NEBOSH Advanced Diploma in health and safety management or Level 6 equivalent essential.- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a SHE role (preferably within manufacturing or industrial settings).
- Professional membership of IEMA, IOSH, or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Advanced Diploma in Health & Safety Management (or Level 6 equivalent).
- Diploma in Environmental Management (preferred).
- Strong understanding and practical application of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong coaching, listening, and questioning skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex improvement projects.
