HSE Recruitment Network are partnering with a global leader in the offshore engineering industry, searching for a Global HSE Manager to lead their safety culture change implementation.
Outcomes and Responsibilities
The key aim of the role is to embed QHSSE practices and policies into the DNA of the company - truly winning hearts and minds through collaboration, engagement and building authentic relationships across the business. To achieve this your responsibilities will include
- Engaging with the executive leadership team in order to put new safety practices into action, building a genuine and positive safety culture
- Conduct high level discussions with the ELT to achieve buy-in across all regions
- Motivate and energise senior & line management to take full responsibility for safety leadership in their business and to raise behavioural safety performance
- Develop, implement and maintain a company-wide process to monitor and evaluate HSSE performanc
- There are four geographical regions plus the fleet service which will all be come under the remit of this role
What you will bring to the role
- Experience in offshore engineering is preferred, with international experience
- Must be highly knowledgeable in HSE, bringing a high degree of seniority and credibility to the role, with both operational and HQ experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to articulate and engage at senior level, across all facets of the organisation
- Experience leading and implementing large-scale safety culture change programmes
- A team player, people’s person: someone who will build trust, work with managers and teams, to build a culture where safety is central to the ethos and operations of the organisation
- Aligned with Safety Differently principles – safety as a positive presence
- A recognised advanced level safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma, HVK equivalent) and ideally a Master's degree
- Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands if not already based there (full relocation assistance will be provided)
