Salary: Up to £55,000 - £60,000 (Depends On Experience)

This civil and structural engineering consultancy, an employee-owned trust business, has been in operation for over 15 years and now boasts over 150 employees. The team looking to expand consists of 23 members, including engineers, Directors, technicians, and apprentices.

 

Role Overview

The consultancy is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their civils team. The role requires someone with a flair for technical creativity, primarily focusing on new build refurbishments across various sectors, specifically in drainage and highways design.

 

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the design and implementation of drainage and highways projects.

- Produce SUDS strategies.

- Detailed design of below-ground drainage networks.

- Utilize design software such as Micro Drainage and Civils 3D.

- Manage and mentor a small team of engineers and technicians.

 

Requirements

- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

- Proven experience in highways design.

- Experience in producing SUDS strategies.

- Proficient in the detailed design of below-ground drainage networks.

- Proficiency in design software such as Micro Drainage and Civils 3D.

- Experience in managing a small team.
