Job Description
Working as an Account Manager, you will act as the primary liaison between clients and in-house teams, ensuring works are delivered in line with contractual requirements, compliance standards, and client expectations. This is a client-facing role suited to someone with experience in a compliance-driven construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients across projects.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Attend client meetings, framework reviews, progress updates, and pre-start meetings to support project managers and the delivery team
- Monitor contract performance against KPIs and agreed programmes
- Coordinate with operations, compliance, and commercial teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Relay client feedback internally and escalate risks or issues where necessary
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery or expand works within existing accounts
- Produce basic account reports, progress updates, and client communications
- Support clients in understanding compliance requirements and the importance of fire safety
- Background in construction or fire doors, or passive fire protection, housing association or similar or housing developer companies.
- Strong client-facing, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities
- Organised, professional, and commercially aware
- £35,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Hybrid working is available once fully trained
