Job Description
Location: Bridgwater
Pay Rate: £18.50ph | £24.50ph OT
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (39 hrs)
Duration: Ad-hoc with potential to progress into full time
We’re seeking a skilled, hands-on Welder/Fabricator to join a growing engineering team. This is a position for a hands-on welder with the ability to build to desired specifications.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong TIG welding experience, particularly Stainless Steel
- Ability to weld 10–15mm thickness
- Mild steel experience essential; aluminium experience highly beneficial (roller repairs)
- Must be able to read drawings, work to spec and produce finished components
- Practical experience using:
- Press brake
- Guillotine
- Grinder
- General fabrication equipment
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
- Fabrication from drawings
- TIG welding of stainless and mild steel
- Cutting and preparing materials
- Using workshop machinery and tools for full fabrication
- Occasional aluminium welding for repair work
- Excellent hourly rates + overtime
- Ongoing work available with potential for full-time
- Diverse workload, no two days the same
