Location: Haringey, London
Position: Primary Sports Coach
Working Days: 4 Days a Week (with After School Club)
Are you passionate about sports and eager to inspire young athletes? We are seeking a dynamic Primary Sports Coach to join a vibrant mainstream primary school in Haringey. This role is open to both male and female applicants who are committed to motivating and engaging primary school students in physical activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging sports sessions that promote teamwork, skill development, and a love for physical activity.
- Create a positive and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to participate.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring all students adhere to safety and sportsmanship guidelines.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum.
- Organize and run after-school sports clubs, fostering continued engagement in physical activity.
- Participate in school sports events and competitions.
- Experience in coaching or leading sports activities is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and the ability to foster a respectful atmosphere.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for promoting health, fitness, and well-being among young learners.
- Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are a plus but not required.
