Role Purpose
To deliver electrical repairs, installations, servicing, and inspection & testing to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely completion of work.
Key Responsibilities- Complete electrical repairs and installations, aiming for first‑time fixes.
- Diagnose faults and carry out domestic rewires to required standards.
- Communicate clearly with residents and colleagues, escalating complex issues where necessary.
- Work safely and compliantly in line with BS7671 and Health & Safety procedures.
- Interpret drawings and specifications, order required materials, and carry out full testing.
- Support planned works including kitchens, bathrooms, and full rewires.
- Participate in an out‑of‑hours emergency call‑out rota.
- Maintain a company vehicle and support apprentices when required.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience- AM2 and qualified Electrician with experience in domestic or social housing environments.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2391, 2360, 2351, 2330, or NVQ Level 3).
- Strong working knowledge of BS7671, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
- City & Guilds 2394/2395 desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between properties.
- Strong IT skills and excellent customer service abilities.
