Hours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–16:30, Fri 08:00–16:00
On-Call: Participation required (typically 1 week in 4)

We are seeking an experienced and driven
Band 7 Estates Manager (Mechanical) to join our Estates & Facilities team. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality Mechanical Services maintenance (Hard FM) while managing in-house operational staff and external contractors across the London estate.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage Mechanical Services maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Trust and departmental standards.
- Oversee and support the estates maintenance workforce, ensuring training needs are identified, planned and implemented.
- Act as Responsible Person and/or Authorised Person for key systems including Water Safety, Heating, Ventilation and Medical Gas services.
- Work collaboratively with fellow Estates Managers (Electrical, Building & Staffing), Systems & Compliance Manager, and report directly to the Deputy Head of Estates.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of Hard FM services across all designated sites.
- Manage contractors and multi-trade teams effectively, ensuring high performance and adherence to policies, procedures and statutory guidelines.
- Support the operational needs of secure mental health areas, where exposure to challenging or stressful situations may occur.

highly experienced and professional mechanical estates manager with a proven background in leading multi-trade teams and managing complex Hard FM operations. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
Essential Requirements:- Extensive experience in Mechanical Services and Hard FM maintenance management.
- Demonstrable experience managing multi-trade staff and external contractors.
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance within mechanical building systems.
- Valid full UK driving licence.
- Ability to commit to site-based work only (no remote working).
- Willingness to work the stated hours and participate in the on-call rota.
- Ability to work within secure mental health environments.
