Job Title: Antisocial Behaviour Officer
Location: East London (Local Authority)
Contract: 3–6 months, with potential to extend
Pay Rate: £31.79 per hour (umbrella)
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced
Antisocial Behaviour Officer to join a busy local authority team in East London. The successful candidate will play a key role in tackling antisocial behaviour (ASB), supporting victims, and working with partners to ensure communities feel safe and supported.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of antisocial behaviour complaints from initial report through to resolution.
- Conduct investigations, interviews, and gather evidence in line with legislation and council policy.
- Prepare and issue legal notices, case files, and attend court where required.
- Work closely with internal teams, the police, housing providers, and other partners to deliver effective interventions.
- Support and advise victims and witnesses throughout the process.
- Monitor and record case outcomes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Requirements:- Previous experience working in a similar ASB, community safety, or enforcement role within a local authority, housing, or related setting.
- Strong knowledge of ASB legislation, policies, and tools (e.g., CPNs, injunctions, closure orders).
- Excellent case management and investigative skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with residents, partners, and offenders.
- Strong report-writing and communication skills.
