Electrician

About the Role We’re looking for a qualified Electrician to join our Commercial Services team. You’ll carry out safe electrical works, including repairs, installations, servicing, and inspection & testing across our housing stock. Your work will help us maintain properties to a high standard, while delivering excellent customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out electrical repairs, installations, servicing, and testing to a high standard.
• Fault finding and rewiring domestic electrical systems in line with BS7671 regulations.
• Working towards first-time fix solutions, ensuring jobs are completed safely and efficiently.
• Liaising with customers and colleagues to provide updates on work progress.
• Supporting planned works such as bathroom, kitchen, and full property rewires.
• Participating in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
• Maintaining company vehicles and equipment to a safe and high standard.
• Supporting apprentices and trainees with on-the-job learning.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 / 2330 Levels 2 & 3 or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of BS7671 and practical electrical experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• Good IT skills and excellent customer care abilities.
• Ability to work safely, independently, and as part of a team.
