3-month ongoing contract
£44.70 per hour (umbrella)
Access to pool vehicles provided
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a busy housing service in North London on an ongoing contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose building defects and recommend appropriate remedial works
- Produce specifications of works using a schedule of rates
- Inspect properties and manage a varied surveying caseload
- Apply strong knowledge of building pathology, including damp, mould and condensation
- Experience in building surveying or construction (qualification desirable but not essential)
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage your own diary and workload
- Knowledge or experience within social housing is desirable but not essential
- Confident working in an office-based role with site visits as required
