Job Description
This is part time, however overtime may be available.
You will be required to work :
- Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
3am-7pm, 10am-7pm, 8am to 3pm
Your Role:
- Support the preparation of patient meals, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained and instructions are followed precisely
- Rotate food stock and accurately log any wastage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across all food service areas
- Clean kitchen equipment, crockery, utensils, and structural areas such as the pantry and restaurant spaces
- Assist with stock checks, receive deliveries, and store items appropriately
- Distribute catering supplies to wards, departments, and fulfill on-demand orders
- Complete required documentation, including temperature logs and cleaning schedules
- Work closely with the manager and supervisor to meet service level agreements and comply with health and safety standards
- Report any faulty equipment or near-miss incidents promptly
- Carry out additional tasks as needed to support the team
- A genuine passion for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals
- A friendly, respectful, and professional manner with patients, visitors, and colleagues
- Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene practices
- The ability to remain on your feet and perform efficiently during high-demand periods
