Are you a skilled project manager passionate about impactful capital works?
I'm working with a council seeking an experienced Capital Delivery Project Manager to lead major and minor projects from feasibility to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Feasibility Studies & Business Cases: Secure capital investment.
- Project Management: Ensure timely and on-budget delivery of capital projects.
- Contractor Liaison: Ensure project specifications and outcomes are met.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets and provide financial reporting for projects ranging from £5m to £10m.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with health and safety legislation.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Project Management Experience: Proven track record with construction and maintenance projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Write technical specifications, conduct feasibility studies, manage contractors.
- Public Sector Experience: Preferable but not essential.
- Qualifications: Relevant project management qualifications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills for stakeholder communication, reports, and briefings.
Main Duties Include:
- Commissioning and managing capital and revenue projects.
- Developing work-related specifications and project briefs.
- Managing the procurement process, including tender documents.
- Ensuring on-site works are effectively managed and documented.
- Liaising with Planning and Building Control officials.
- Preparing updates on project progress and contractor performance.
- Managing health and safety compliance.
- Leading on work priorities and targets set by the Corporate Manager - Assets & Regeneration.
