Our client, a
leading specialist consultancy, is seeking an experienced
Facade Consultant with strong expertise in façade systems and
building condition surveys.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects while contributing to a dynamic and growing team.
The consultancy specializes in delivering expert facade solutions for
blue-chip projects across London, covering a diverse range of sectors, including
high-end residential developments, commercial offices, and mixed-use schemes. They pride themselves on their technical excellence and commitment to innovation, providing tailored facade consultancy services that meet the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed condition surveys of existing buildings, assessing façade performance, durability, and compliance.
- Provide technical advice on various cladding systems, construction methodologies, and refurbishment strategies.
- Engage in post-contract work, including site inspections, quality control, and defect analysis.
- Contribute to broader consultancy duties, including design reviews, technical reporting, and project coordination.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and developers to ensure best-practice facade solutions.
Key Requirements:- Minimum 5+ years’ experience working for a Façade Consultant in the UK.
- Strong technical knowledge of cladding systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Proven experience conducting building condition surveys and identifying remedial solutions.
- Some exposure to post-contract activities with a willingness to engage in a broad range of consultancy services.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.
- London-based role with a hybrid working arrangement (minimum 3 days in the office per week).
