Job Description
Contract: 3-Month Ongoing
Start: ASAP
We’re seeking experienced Multi Traders to join our team, carrying out a variety of building repairs, maintenance, renewals, and refurbishments across occupied and void housing properties and Council-owned premises in North London.
You’ll deliver work to the highest professional standard across a range of trade disciplines — ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations and best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake routine reactive repairs and large-scale refurbishment projects
- Carry out building maintenance, renewals, and replacements across multiple trades
- Deliver occupational therapy adaptations in domestic properties
- Ensure all work meets current standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations
- Maintain high levels of customer service in occupied properties
- Competent and experienced in at least four of the following trades:
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Plastering
- Electrical (Part P desirable)
- Tiling
- Painting & Decorating
- Gas Safe
- Proven ability to work to a high standard of quality and output
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- £29 per hour (Umbrella)
- 3-month ongoing contract with potential extension
- Varied and rewarding workload across North London
- Opportunity to join a reputable Council maintenance team
