We’re currently seeking an experienced and proactive
Building Safety Compliance Manager to step into a vital interim role supporting compliance and safety management across our corporate property portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team with the potential for long-term engagement.
About the Role: As
Building Safety Compliance Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our mechanical and electrical (M&E) compliance, safety, and building services operations are carried out to the highest standards. You’ll be overseeing statutory compliance, managing complex M&E systems, and supporting wider safety governance across the estate.
- Initial 5 days per week in-office for the first 12 weeks (handover and onboarding period)
- Afterward, hybrid working available (2.5–3 days in-borough), depending on workload
- Fully contactable during standard office hours is a must
- A minimum 4-week handover will be provided by the current postholder
Key Requirements: ✅
Qualifications & Memberships- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Chartered or working towards membership with CIBSE, CIOB, IOSH, or IIRSM
- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) is essential

Experience & Skills- Strong M&E operational background, ideally time-served or apprenticeship-trained
- Solid experience in project management, specification writing, and financial planning
- Confident in using CAFM systems and compliance tracking software
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and a flexible, solutions-driven approach
