Role: Tool Hire Manager
Location: Dereham
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (DOE) + Bonus & Commission
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Weekend Hours: 1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Are you an experienced Tool Hire professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are currently seeking a driven and commercially focused Tool Hire Manager to lead a busy and successful hire operation in Dereham.

As Tool Hire Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the hire department, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong financial results and efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Managing the daily operations of the tool hire desk
• Leading, motivating, and developing the team
• Driving sales and maximising revenue opportunities
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Ensuring health & safety and compliance standards are met
• Overseeing stock control, asset management and availability
• Account management and developing existing relationships

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience within tool hire, plant hire or equipment rental
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Commercially aware with a focus on sales and profitability
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
