The BusinessA busy construction plant operation is expanding its workshop team due to continued workload growth.
The workshop supports a large fleet of earthmoving equipment and offers a structured environment with strong technical support and development opportunities.
The RoleThis is a workshop-based engineering role focused on servicing, repairs and preparation of heavy plant machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Pre-delivery inspections of new machines
- Routine servicing and planned maintenance
- Fault-finding and mechanical repairs
- Major component replacement and machine modifications
- Supporting apprentices within the workshop
- Completing accurate job sheets and documentation
- Maintaining high health and safety standards
About You- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline (or Level 2 working towards Level 3)
- Experience working on heavy plant preferred
- HGV or agricultural backgrounds considered
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
- Comfortable working in a team-based workshop environment
- Full UK driving licence
