Role: Business Development Manager
Area: UK wide
Salary: in the region of £50,000, negotiable based on candidate’s experience
Location:- Home based – a Midlands based candidate would be ideal for travel
- Travel throughout England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland
The requirements of the Business Development Manager will be:- Actively targeting new and relevant accounts/businesses to bring in new members and proactively prospecting
- Regular meetings across the UK with new prospective customers and existing customers plus attending trade shows and member events
- Managing smaller accounts to grow them where necessary and manage accounts at risk of lapsing
- Account Management via regular check ins and at least annual visits with larger accounts
- Identify any possible areas of innovation to capitalise on the current market
The ideal candidate for Business Development Manager will have:- Strong sales experience and an established network within the Construction Equipment industry is essential
- Some technical understanding within the Construction Equipment industry
- Well established and credible within the sector
