Job Description
A major dealership specialising in the international supply of Heavy Plant & Equipment, looking for an Area Sales Manager to execute the sale of products to UK and international territories, holding responsibility for a large number of accounts throughout the regions.
Role: Area Sales Manager (Hybrid)
Area: Slough with international travel
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + comms + benefits
The requirements of the Area Sales Manager will be:
- As Area Sales Manager, you will be required to actively prospect potential new customers whilst managing existing accounts
- Develop travel plans for regular customer and territory visits
- Identify key commercial opportunities through ongoing communication with customers
- Build long term relationship with customers to ensure maximisation of all revenue
- Produce a reliable monthly sales forecast
The ideal candidate for the Area Sales Manager will be:
- Experienced in selling equipment on an international scale
- Proven ability to develop customer accounts
- Experience of using a CRM database
- Tenacious and resilient, with the ability to close sales
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to establish and maintain effective working relationships
