Access and Safeguarding Lead Officer - Adults Services£500 per dayNorth Eastfixed term - 12 monthsAbout the role:We are looking for a qualified Social Worker to support the current Access & safeguarding Lead officer in the delivery of a number of projects and initiatives within this field. This will include:
• Review of the front door model including scoping the opportunity of AI technology for initial advise and assistance to residents, learning from others.
• Determining demand alongside forecasting future demand presenting to the front door, and the resources required to manage this
• Reviewing the process flow between access and locality teams
• Determining the most suitable business process for links with iSPA
• Supporting with BAU activity including links with Tees Adults Safeguarding Board, and investigating the safeguarding concerns, conversion to s.42 enquiries and outcomes.
• Understanding the workflow from hospital to access with regard to pathway 1,2 and 3
• Supporting with the structure design of the Directorate.
This post will be delivered as Hybrid working, with a minimum of 1day in the office.
What you need:- A degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
- At least 3 years PQE direct employment within English Local Authorities
- Completed relevant post-qualifying training
- Enhanced DBS check
- Excellent communication and written skills
