Qualified Social Worker - Duty and Assessment

I’m currently seeking a qualified Social Worker who is required to join a Duty and Assessment team within Lancashire.
 
You will be working on a busy yet supportive team with regular supervision from your manager. You will be expected to manage a diverse caseload effectively and be able to deliver positive change to children and their families. The successful Social Worker must be competent in planning and undertaking assessments and also have post qualified experience within a statutory setting. As you will be working within the busy front door service you will be expected to work under pressure and be able to hit the ground running.
 
As a qualified Social Worker you will have experience of:   

• Signpost people to other agencies or complete an assessment of need
• Investigate allegations of neglect, physical, sexual and emotional abuse so that a child or young person is protected from harm.
• Liaising with other clients, agencies and professionals
• Attending Court
• Working with Public Law Outline (PLO)
• Performing Section 47s
• Managing a diverse and complex caseload

As a qualified Social Worker you MUST be:    

• Social Care England registered 
• Eligible to work in the UK 
• Have a minimum 2 years post qualified experience
• A full UK license holder
