Are you a compassionate and experienced Adult Social Worker with a commitment to protecting vulnerable adults? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join a high-performing Adult Safeguarding Team in Cheshire — where your expertise, empathy, and leadership will truly make an impact.
🌟 About the Role
As a key member of the Adult Safeguarding team, you will:
- Assess risk and coordinate safeguarding plans for vulnerable adults
- Screen referrals and lead on complex safeguarding investigations
- Carry out Care Act Assessments and provide targeted interventions
- Promote independence and dignity through person-centred care plans
- Work collaboratively with partners across health, housing, mental health, and community services
- Take on a mentoring role for unqualified staff and students
- Provide evidence and expert input in court where required
✅ What We’re Looking For
We want to hear from Social Workers who are:
- Registered with Social Work England
- Qualified with SW, DipSW, CSS or equivalent social work qualification
- 4+ years post-qualified experience in adult safeguarding or complex adult social care
- Confident in applying the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Human Rights Act, and Mental Health Act
- Strong communicators with excellent mediation, assessment, and advocacy skills
- Committed to partnership working in multidisciplinary settings
- Passionate about achieving positive outcomes for adults with care and support needs
