Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker ready to make a real difference in children's lives? We’re looking for a skilled professional to join a dynamic Child Protection & Court Team in the West Midlands — where your expertise will be key in achieving the best outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

🔍 About the Role
This is a challenging yet highly rewarding opportunity within a forward-thinking, supportive local authority with a strong safeguarding culture.
In this role, you’ll:

• Lead complex Child Protection and Court proceedings
• Carry out detailed assessments, including S47 investigations
• Develop robust care plans and support permanence planning
• Represent the local authority in court with confidence and professionalism
• Collaborate with health, education, police, and legal partners to ensure a joined-up approach
• Maintain a child-focused, strengths-based practice, even under pressure

From day one, you’ll be backed by an experienced Team Manager and surrounded by a team that values collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement.

✅ What We’re Looking For
You’ll be:

• A Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
• Experienced in Child Protection, pre-proceedings, and court work
• A confident communicator who can manage risk and complexity effectively
• Skilled at engaging children, families, and professionals with empathy and clarity
• Organised and committed to delivering timely, high-quality reports and outcomes
• Ideally 4+ years post-qualified (but all experienced candidates considered)
