Pertemps Professional Recruitment is currently recruiting for a passionate and skilled Social Worker to join a Child Protection Team within a Local Authority in Merseyside.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading on assessments and safeguarding interventions
- Developing care plans that put children and families at the centre
- Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes
- Using your specialist knowledge to inform decisions and improve lives
- Managing your own caseload with the autonomy and support you need to succeed
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England
- 4+ years post-qualified experience in child protection or children & families teams
- Confident in navigating complex cases with a child-centred approach
- Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication, mediation, and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to achieving positive, long-term outcomes for vulnerable children
- £40 per hour pay rate
