Advanced Practitioner- Children's Safeguarding

About the role:
Our client is offering an opportunity to work with their dedicated Children's Safeguarding & Support teams.

We are looking for qualified Children and Families Social Workers, ideally with experience in safeguarding and children in our care, who can undertake varied and diverse case management and exceptional quality assessments in a timely accurate manner, allowing for progression opportunities to be able to develop and grow their career from Newly Qualified Social Worker to Senior Social Worker and Team Manager. Along with providing with a child centred approach and using the skills and tools to work restoratively with families

For these roles you must:
• Be a qualified Social Worker (with a Social Work England Registration)
• You will have sound knowledge of relevant childcare legislation, including a clear understanding of ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’.
• An ability to build effective relationships with children, young people, and families
ASYE + at least 3 years experience plus additional supervisory/practice development role/contributing to learning of others

What you need:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
• Completed relevant post-qualifying training
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and written skills
