In this rewarding role, you'll work across community-based adult services, carrying out complex casework and safeguarding interventions that protect the most vulnerable while promoting dignity, empowerment, and independence.
 
 
🔍 What You'll Be Doing:
As part of the Integrated Neighbourhood Team, you will:

• Carry out Care Act Assessments and Mental Capacity Assessments
• Lead on safeguarding enquiries and manage complex adult protection cases
• Participate in duty rotations, responding to urgent referrals and risk
• Work collaboratively with health, housing, and voluntary sector partners
• Champion person-centred care planning and positive risk-taking
• Uphold key legislation including the Care Act 2014, MCA 2005, MHA, and Human Rights Act

 
👤 About You – The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for a confident and compassionate practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment and puts the individual at the heart of every decision.
 
You’ll bring:

• ✔️ Registration with Social Work England
• ✔️ A recognised Social Work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, Degree or equivalent)
• ✔️ 4+ years’ experience in adult social care
• ✔️ Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks
• ✔️ Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills
• ✔️ A proactive, strengths-based, and culturally sensitive approach
• ✔️ Experience in safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, and multi-disciplinary working
