Social Worker - Child Protection
£30 - £35 per hour
East Riding of Yorkshire 
37 hours p/w, temp contract

We are recruiting a locum social worker fo a long term social work team, working with vulnerable families across the north area of Rural East Riding of Yorkshire.

The team works with families who are subject of Child Protection plan, Care Proceedings, Private Law Proceedings and Adoption.There is an expectation that you have experience of this area of work. We use a Signs of Safety Model within ERYC and it is important that you have knowledge of this model as this underpins all our work. There is an expectation that you understand the importance of timeliness for visits, recording accurately with good analysis, assessment writing is completed in timescales and that you are willing to support colleagues at times where there may be a need.

To be considered for this post you must be registered with Social Work England and at least 3 years’ post qualifying experience across permanent positions in England.
 
What you need:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
• Completed relevant post-qualifying training
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and written skills
