We are recruiting for an Assessment Social Worker for a temporary position in South West wales. 

About the role:

• Undertaking Parenting assessments, which include attachments between parent(s) and child(ren), relationships with each other and their own parents, an analysis of (i) the parents’ capacity for change and how that change might be achieved and/or (ii) risk and how that risk might be managed
• Assessment of persons connected to the child. This would include an assessment of the family dynamic
• Special Guardianship Reports
• Experience of Court Work

What you need:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Registered with Social Care Wales/ Social Work England
• 2 years post-qualifiying expereince as a social worker
• Completed relevant post-qualifying training
• Enhanced DBS check
• Excellent communication and written skills
