Job Description

Pertemps are currently recruiting a Cleaner to work at Royal Mail sites in Newcastle. This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK’s most trusted organisations, helping maintain clean, safe, and hygienic environments for staff and visitors. Whether you’re looking for full-time work or just a few shifts per week, we want to hear from you!

Your Role
  • Clean operational areas including sorting floors, staff rest areas, toilets, and offices.
  • Maintain high cleanliness standards in high-traffic environments.
  • Follow COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
  • Complete routine cleaning checklists and report site needs.
  • Work as part of a cleaning team or independently across large areas.
Requirements
  • Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential training to be provided on site for the right candidate.
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
  • Reliability and good timekeeping.
Other Information:
  • Working Hours: 06:00-14:00 Monday to Friday.
  • Pay Rate: £12.21
  • Duration of Assignment: Temporary
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location:  Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1AD
