Job Description

Pertemps are currently recruiting for reliable and motivated Collection & Delivery Drivers to work with Parcelforce in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s most trusted brands, delivering essential postal services to the local community.
Your Role
  • Driving a 3.5T Royal Mail vehicle on pre-planned routes.
  • Collecting and delivering mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses.
  • Loading and unloading vehicle safely and efficiently.
  • Providing excellent customer service at every doorstep.
Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Recent experience driving a 3.5T van.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good local knowledge of Newport.
  • Willingness to complete a criminal background check (DBS).
Other Information:
  • Working Hours: 08:00-17:00 – Monday to Friday
  • Pay Rate: £14.63
  • Duration of Assignment: 2 weeks
  • Start date: 30/03/2026
  • Location: Newport Unit 21, Maesglas Industrial Estate, Newport, NP20 2NN
