Job Description
- Chairing child care review meetings for children and young people who are in the care of the local authority.
- Ensuring the child or young person's care plan is being implemented and in their best interests.
- Ensure that permanency planning is undertaken at the earliest opportunity
- Ensuring you write a comprehensive record of the child care review meeting to the child
- Undertaking midway reviews to ensure the care plan is being implemented
- Raising any concerns through the local authority escalation process
- Ensuring that children and young people are involved in their child care review meetings
- Participate in a duty system
