Contract Manager – Surrey based.Location: London (Primarily)
Package: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (DOE) + Car Allowance + Annual Profit Share Bonus (post probation)
Holiday: 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays

About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled M&E Contract Manager to oversee a portfolio of Maintenance Contracts, including Gas, Mechanical, Electrical, and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) services, primarily within the Public and Private sectors. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and proven expertise in managing maintenance contracts, with a focus on both planned and reactive maintenance valued in excess of £2 million.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of M&E maintenance contracts, ensuring the delivery of services to the highest standards, within budget and on time.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of gas, mechanical, electrical, and RAC maintenance contracts for a diverse range of clients, including universities and schools.
- Ensure the successful execution of both planned and reactive maintenance work.
- Manage and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Oversee contract support and operations teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project execution.
- Monitor and manage the P&L for the portfolio, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Identify opportunities for growth and service improvement across contracts.
- Work closely with senior management and clients to resolve any issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain strict attention to detail when managing contract numbers, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Requirements:- Proven experience as an M&E Contract Manager or in a similar technical management role, with a background in mechanical, electrical, or gas disciplines.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to manage complex M&E maintenance contracts.
- Experience in managing a portfolio of contracts, including both planned and reactive maintenance, valued at over £2 million.
- Commercially aware, with a solid understanding of P&L management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage and monitor contract financials.
- Target-driven with a track record of delivering results and achieving objectives.
- Full, clean UK driving license is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a largely office-based working split (80% office /20% site).
