Job Title: IRO, CPC, Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)
Hours: 37hrs

Job role:

To convene and chair Looked After Children’s Reviews, Child Protection Conferences, Position of Trust Meetings, Secure Accommodation Reviews, Remand Reviews and
Complex Strategy Meetings within the prescribed time-scales as required by the demands of the service.
Ensure effective practical arrangements are made for reviews, conferences and meetings and that children, families and partner agencies are fully informed, consulted and advised as to the processes involved in advance.
To encourage and promote the participation of children and young people in their meetings and plans, to consult them and actively seek feedback on practice and provision of services; To ensure that children have access to an advocate where required.
