Job Description
Pertemps West Midlands and Shropshire driving division are recruiting for an HGV HIAB Driver on a temp to perm basis for one of our prestigious clients based in Walsall.
The roles will entail and not limited to:
- Safely drive and operate HGV HIAB vehicles
- Deliver & collect modular buildings and containers from customer sites
- Operate the Hiab crane for loading and unloading
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations
- Complete delivery/collection paperwork accurately
- Provide excellent customer service to customers
- Report vehicle defects
- Collaborate with team members for smooth operations
- Represent the company professionally at all time
To be considered for this HGV HIAB Driver role you will need:
- Category C+E or C driving qualification
- Qualified lorry loader operator (CSCS/ALLMI) (Essential)
- ALLMI Lorry loader D1+E unlimited (preferred Training upgrade considered for the right candidate).
- Slinger and signaller experience.
- Good understanding and knowledge of current regulations with regards to EU driver hours, Working Time Directive and Driver’s Tachograph restrictions.
In return, the HGV HIAB Driver will receive:
- Pay rate - £17.04ph
- Overtime – £25.56ph After 40 hours
- Start and finish times will vary but are typically between 7–8am start and 3–4pm finish Monday - Friday
- Temp to perm
- Accrued holiday pay.
- Access to pension (PAYE).
- Local agency office/consultants
- Weekly pay/monthly pay to suit
- Onsite car parking.
