Clerical Assistant – Children’s Services Business Support Team
Location: Ty Elai, Dinas Isaf Industrial Estate, Williamstown, Tonypandy, CF40 1NY (Hybrid: Home & Office-Based)
Employment Type: Temporary (18 June 2025 – 9 July 2025)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00)
Pay: PAYE £12.85/hour | Umbrella £16.32/hour
Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting essential community services? Network Recruitment Wales is seeking a dedicated Clerical Assistant to join the Enquiry & Assessment Team (EAT) within the Children’s Services Business Support Team in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) for a temporary 4-week assignment from 11 June to 9 July 2025.
What You’ll Do:

• Provide administrative support to the EAT, ensuring accurate and timely processing of information in line with current guidance.
• Assist social work staff with data entry, record-keeping, and general clerical tasks to support initial assessments and family support needs.
• Work primarily from home, with some office-based cover at Ty Elai to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in providing administrative support in a busy office setting (desirable but not essential).
• IT literacy with proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate data entry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to hybrid working arrangements.
• Commitment to supporting the Children’s Services team in delivering vital services.
