Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: £12.59–£15.84/hour + agency support benefits

What You’ll Do:
- Load a variety of waste and recycling collection vehicles, ensuring efficient and safe operations across Powys.
- Work collaboratively with your team, taking pride in maintaining high standards during waste and recycling collections.
- Follow safety procedures, ensuring proper handling of materials and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Travel to multiple sites across Powys, supporting the council’s environmental goals and community cleanliness.
- Report any operational issues to your supervisor, contributing to smooth and effective collections.
What We’re Looking For:
- Skills: Physically fit and able to handle the demands of waste and recycling collections, with a focus on teamwork.
- Qualities: Reliable, hardworking, and proud to contribute to a cleaner Powys, with a positive attitude towards outdoor work.
- Experience: No specific experience required—your fitness and enthusiasm are key, with on-the-job training provided.
- Requirements: Full UK driving licence; ability to travel across Powys sites; eligibility to work in the UK.
- Bonus Points: Previous experience in waste management or outdoor roles; Welsh language skills (or willingness to learn basic greetings).
