Service Engineer – Assistive Technology Equipment
Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT), South Wales
Contract: 5th May 2025 – 6th June 2025 (5 Weeks)
Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

What You’ll Do:
Test, service, and repair Assistive Technology Equipment (both fixed and portable) in-house, ensuring electrical, mechanical, and functional integrity.
Safely use test equipment, including electrical testers and load weights, following training and manufacturer guidelines.
Install Assistive Technology Equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and risk assessments.
Record all tests, repairs, and installations in both paper and electronic formats, maintaining accurate documentation.
Collaborate with your Line Manager to meet partner needs, ensuring a safe working environment and efficient use of materials.
What We’re Looking For:
Skills: Strong diagnostic, repair, and installation skills, with experience in electrical and mechanical testing.
Qualities: Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Experience: Proven experience servicing technical equipment, ideally Assistive Technology or similar (e.g., medical devices, mobility aids).
Requirements: Ability to travel within RCT; comfortable using PPE and adhering to health and safety protocols; eligibility to work in the UK.
Bonus Points: Familiarity with Assistive Technology Equipment; Welsh language skills (or willingness to learn basic greetings).
