We are actively looking for a Business Analyst based out of the Castleford area...
Position
The successful candidate will provide support to the Data & Reporting Manager with performance in the Health, Safety and Training arena. In addition to this there is a need to facilitate process related improvements to be driven throughout the business unit to enhance the overall Safety performance. This includes providing administration support of all Safety, Health and Environment policies, incident reporting and analysis and production of key performance information.

Job Details: 

Working Week: Monday to Friday (No weekend work stipulated) 
Working Hours: 08:30am-4:30pm / 09:00am-5:00pm (FlexiTime)
Annual Salary: £29,000-£32,000
Duration: 3 - 6 Months 

Key Responsibilities

· Data Input of HST reporting information including monthly data analysis.
· Support the HST managers with compliance of governance and controls around ISO-45001
· Preparation of data models, analysis and presentation of results and recommendations
· Accident report taking, distributing and monitoring
· Assist with effectively delivering information and performance measures on all key activities.
· Provide information and communicate with managers on Safety performance

Key Competencies

· Analytical skills with the ability to compile and analyse large amounts of data
· Strong communication skills
· Strong team player but with the ability to work on own initiative
· Strong IT skills including the competent use of Excel, Access, Word and Powerpoint
· Good planning and organisational skills

Qualifications & Attributes

The successful candidate should have;
  • x2 A Levels being grade C or above, an NVQ Level 3 or, an ONC in Business Management.
  • Alternatively 2 years of relevant experience within a similar role would be acceptable. Substantial experience in Microsoft Excel is also essential.
It would be desirable but not essential for the candidate to have awareness of environmental legislation/qualification or safety legislation awareness/qualification.
