Rate: PAYE: £12.85 per hour | Umbrella: £16.32 per hour

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Grounds Operative to join their Building Services & Maintenance team based at Llanfoist Depot in Abergavenny. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of community spaces in Monmouthshire during a busy period.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, landscaping, and general upkeep of outdoor areas.
• Operate and maintain grounds equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively within the team to meet operational goals.
• Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
• Qualifications and Documents:
  • Health Declaration/Questionnaire.
  • 2 years of references/work history.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Confidentiality Agreement (to be provided upon offer acceptance).
  • Criminal Convictions Declaration (to be provided upon offer acceptance).
