Location: Barry, Vale of Glamorgan
Employment Type: Temporary (12 weeks – very high chance of extension)

Hours: Full-time 37 hours per week (hybrid working available)
Salary: PAYE: £28.15+ per hour | Umbrella: £36.88 per hour

The Teams
Two newly expanded Family Support Teams doing long-term, strengths-based work with families – Child in Need, Child Protection, PLO, and proceedings right up to final orders.
This is proper relationship-based social work: kind, consistent, creative, and focused on building resilience and keeping children safely at home wherever possible.

You’ll need

• Social Work qualification + current Social Care Wales registration
• Minimum 18–24 months statutory children & families experience
• Recent experience of CP, PLO, and court work
• Full driving licence & own car 
• Passion for strengths-based, long-term family work

• Enhanced DBS (on Update Service preferred)
