Vitalis are recruiting for an Outreach Worker to work in a Team based in Manchester City Council.
 
The worker will work as part of a Children’s Centre Team across a neighbourhood of 4 children's centres providing an efficient and welcoming service to all users of children’s centre’s within the localities of Burnage, Old Moat, Fallowfield and Whalley Range. Working job-share hours end of the week, Wednesday afternoon, Thursdays and Fridays all day.
We are looking for an Outreach worker who:

• Has early years’ experience and knowledge of the EYFS.
• Has worked with families and children under 5 and can work as part of a multi-agency team.
• Can work at front line level, at a high quality and when necessary, assertively, and use a whole family approach.
• Can identify packages of support to improve outcomes and support children to achieve their milestones.
• Has the Ability to maintain effective systems to manage and retrieve information. Can use the computer to complete tracking of families and outcomes.
• Can support families with a range of issues such as housing, child protection, onto training volunteering or work.
• Has excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
