Pay rate £400 to £450 per day

Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Adult’s Social Work Service Manager in North London
This is to work within the Brokerage and Arranging Care Service, and you will need to be a QSW with Senior Management experience in a Local Authority setting.
Context

• The postholder will embed the Adults & Public Health, Health and Wellbeing’ Personalisation and Strength base model in service delivery to a range of Residents including all adults and transitioning adults with care and support needs promoting full control over their Assessments.
• Be responsible for the Arranging Care Team and manage the team budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilisation of resources.
• The Post holder will be responsible for area’s staffing and operational budget averaging £700,000 annually. They will also ensure any additional resources are within budgetary provisions and that payments and charges are administered in the most cost-effective manner within agreed Council policies and as stipulated in legislation.
• The post-holder will be responsible for the effective administration of the following average annual payments:
  • Be responsible for a purchasing budget of circa £70 million for 3000 residents including
  • Payments to providers of £40 million for residential and nursing services
  • Payments to providers of £16 million for supported living
  • Payments to providers of £19 million for homecare services
