London Housing Provider to recruit an enthusiastic and customer-focused
Neighbourhood Officer to join their Neighbourhood Services team.
Based from a local area housing office, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, front-line housing management services across a defined patch.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a patch of tenancies, leases and licences, acting as the main point of contact for residents
- Deliver a customer-focused housing management service, ensuring residents’ needs are addressed professionally and promptly
- Undertake tenancy and leasehold management, including tenancy sign-ups, sustainment and enforcement where required
- Manage and respond to anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases in line with policy and legislation
- Carry out estate inspections, identify environmental issues and work with internal and external partners to resolve them
- Complete tenancy verification checks and support fraud prevention activity
- Respond to neighbourhood issues, emergencies and service requests efficiently
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with housing policies and procedures
- Attend evening meetings and out-of-hours emergencies when required
Rate: £27-£29 Umbrella

About You You will bring either
direct housing management experience or strong
transferable skills from a related customer-facing or enforcement role, alongside a genuine commitment to supporting residents.
You will demonstrate:
- Strong customer care and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
- The ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively and work independently
- Confidence working in a front-line, estate-based environment
- A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings when necessary
