Job Description
Location: Construction site based in Cambridge
Salary: TBC depending on experience
Hours: Full-time, Night Shifts
About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and professional Night Security Officer to join our growing team in Cambridge. You’ll play a key role in keeping our premises, staff, and visitors safe overnight.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas
- Monitor CCTV and respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activity
- Control access and check identification where required
- Complete clear, accurate incident and handover reports
- Liaise with emergency services when necessary
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors in a courteous, professional manner
Requirements
- Valid SIA Security Licence (essential)
- Previous experience as a Night Security Officer or night role
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and stay alert throughout the night
- Full UK driving licence advantageous
